Maa Bhubaneswari Bricks

We operate out of Ektal Village in Birmaharajpur Tehsil. Our site is quite close to the Kenjhiriapali Anganwadi. Maa Bhubaneswari Bricks is just a small local setup. We spend our time mixing mud and shaping bricks. It is a lot of physical work, but we are used to it. The area is rural and quiet for the most part. We have a few piles of fuel for the kiln and rows of bricks drying in the sun. We aren't a big industrial company. It is mostly just family and some local help. We started this business to make a living and it has kept us going. We don't do any flashy advertising. Usually, people just see us working when they go past the anganwadi. We know most of our customers by name. They are neighbors or people from the next village over. We keep the process simple. No big computers or complicated systems here. Just the soil, the water, and the heat. When the monsoon comes, we have to pause because the mud won't dry. Those are the slow months. But the rest of the year, we are busy from morning until dusk. We just want to keep the kiln burning and provide bricks for the houses around here. That is our daily life. It is not always easy but we get by and keep the work moving along for the community.
