If you’re looking for Sodhisons Mechanical Works, we are over in Kundli. Our place is 62-63 in Phase-4, Section-57 of the Hsiidc Industrial Area. It’s a proper industrial zone, so don't expect anything pretty. There’s lots of grease, metal scraps, and the sound of welding going on all day. We do mechanical work, which means we are usually fixing machines or making parts for other factories. The air always smells a bit like burnt metal and oil. I’ve been working here for years, and my clothes are pretty much permanently stained. It’s hard work, and the floors are never really clean no matter how much we try. In the winter, the workshop gets freezing, and in the summer, it’s like an oven. But we are used to it by now. We have some heavy machinery that takes up most of the floor space, so you have to be careful where you walk. Most of our clients are other industrial units in the area. They bring us things that are broken, and we figure out how to make them work again. We don't have a fancy office upstairs, just a small cabin with a desk where we keep the invoices and a very old computer. It’s a loud, messy environment, but we take pride in knowing how things actually work. It’s just us doing what we know how to do best in this dusty corner of Kundli.
