Lalit Jain Industries

You can find us over at Plot No 368 in the HSIIDC area of the Rai Industrial Estate. Lalit Jain Industries has been operating out of this shed for a good while. The estate itself is huge, and it can be easy to get lost if you aren't familiar with the plot numbers around here. Inside our gate, it is mostly just a lot of raw materials and heavy machinery. We do a lot of the metal work and fabrication that other businesses in the area need for their own production. It gets quite hot in the summer, especially when the machines have been running since six in the morning, but we keep the fans going as best we can. We don’t really do fancy brochures or have a dedicated sales person sitting in an office. Usually, if a customer needs something, they just drop by the shop floor and talk to whoever is available at the time. We spend most of our time making sure the dimensions are correct and the finish is what was asked for on the blueprints. Sometimes we run behind when a machine breaks down, but we usually stay late to fix it and catch up on the work. It’s noisy and greasy work, but that is just the nature of an industrial estate like Rai. We are just a group of workers making parts and trying to keep the machines hummed.
