Being right on the main highway means there is a constant sound of trucks passing by. Our facility is quite large compared to some of the smaller shops in the area. It’s a place where we deal with heavy industrial work. Most of the staff comes in from the nearby parts of Haryana. The work floor is busy with people operating machinery and moving large parts around. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear your best clothes. It’s dusty and noisy, but that’s just how manufacturing goes. We have a small administrative block, but the heart of the company is out in the sheds. We eat our lunch in a simple canteen area and talk about the weekend or the weather. The heat in Sonepat can be tough in the summer, but we’ve got big fans to keep the air moving on the floor. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or decorations. The focus is always on the production schedule and making sure the machines are maintained properly. It’s a long day for most of us, starting early to beat the worst of the traffic on G T Road. We’ve been at this location for a good number of years.
