Airtel

In the village of Bajanakhurd, near Ganaur in Sonipat, we run this Airtel point. It’s a very local operation, right in the heart of the VPO area. Most of the people who come in are our friends or relatives from nearby houses. We deal with a lot of basic stuff, like helping people understand how to use their smartphones or adding balance to their accounts so they can call someone far away. Since we are in a more rural part of Sonipat, things move a bit slower than in the big cities, and we like it that way. You might find us sitting outside the shop when it’s quiet, just watching the world go by. But when someone has a problem with their network, we get right to it. We know how important it is for families here to stay in touch, especially since many have sons or brothers working in Delhi or further away. We don’t have any corporate training or polished scripts. We just speak the local language and help out however we can. Whether it's a new SIM card or fixing a signal issue, we do the work. It’s a small place, and sometimes we run out of certain items, but we always try to get them back in stock quickly. It is just us here in Bajanakhurd, doing our bit to keep the village connected. It is simple work, but someone has to do it. We stay until the evening chores begin.
