We are based in Ghorawal, working out of Krishan Chandra’s place. It is a rugged part of the country and farming here is not easy. It’s often dusty and the work is very tough. We are a producer company, but that really just means a group of local farmers decided to pool what we have. We chose to focus on organic methods because we could see the land in Ghorawal was getting tired and worn out. We wanted to see if we could bring it back to life naturally. There are no fancy offices or air conditioning here. Just a couple of rooms and a lot of outdoor space where we keep our tools. We spend most of our time talking about the weather or the price of supplies. It is a very local operation. We know all the farmers by their first names and we know their families too. We don’t use any polished scripts when we talk to people. If something goes wrong with a crop, we just get together and try to fix it. We aren't looking to become a global brand or anything big like that. We just want to make sure the families in this area can keep their farms going for another generation. It is all about the soil, the seeds, and the long hours under the sun. Sometimes we just sit under the trees when it's too hot to work.
