Our main setup is actually tied to the Ncl Khadia Project over in Shaktinagar, which is in the Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. Even though the name mentions Rewari in Haryana, a lot of our actual daily operations happen right here at B-41. It is a rugged area, very much influenced by the mining and power projects nearby. The dust from the Khadia project is everywhere, so we are constantly cleaning off our desks. Working here means you are part of a very specific industrial landscape. The pin code 231222 is what we use for all our mail, and the post usually takes its time getting here. It is a bit of a trek to get to the main town, so we mostly stay around the project site during the week. The office is pretty basic, just some metal desks and old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time coordinating between the needs of the project and our suppliers. It is not a glamorous job, and the sun in Sonbhadra can be really harsh in the summer months. Most of the people working here are used to the long hours and the sound of heavy machinery in the distance. We don't have any marketing people or fancy suits around.
