Stella Construction Private Limited is based in Bijpur, which is famous for the large power projects in the Rihand Nagar area. Our office is located in the Contractor Colony at the residence of Rajiv Kumar Singh. It is a specific kind of neighborhood where almost everyone you meet is involved in some kind of industrial work. The vibe here is very practical and no-nonsense. We do not have any expensive furniture or fancy decorations; it is all metal desks and sturdy chairs that can handle the dust and grime. The phone rings constantly with updates from different project sites. We spend a lot of time keeping an eye on the weather, especially during the monsoon when the roads in Sonbhadra can turn into a muddy mess very quickly. Inside the office, we try to keep things organized, but there are always stacks of invoices and manuals taking up space on the tables. We have a small desert cooler that works very hard during the scorching summer months. Most of us have lived and worked in this colony for many years, so we know all the other workers and suppliers by their first names. It is a tight-knit community of people who just want to get their work done. We usually eat our lunch together at one of the desks and talk about whatever is happening in the news.
