Star Cement

It’s a bit of a rugged area, but that fits the kind of work we do every day. Dealing with cement means things get a bit dusty and messy around the place, but that’s just how it is in this industry. Our location in Turra Piperi is where we manage the local distribution and keep an eye on things. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning and plush chairs for visitors. It’s a working site, plain and simple. Most of the guys here have been working with cement for years and know exactly what they’re doing without needing much direction. We spend a lot of time outdoors or in the warehouse area checking the bags. The roads around Sonebhadra can be a bit rough and bumpy, so logistics is always a bit of a challenge for us, but we make it work somehow. We don't have any slick brochures or high-tech presentations to show people. If you want to know about the cement we have, we just show it to you. It’s a very practical, down-to-earth way of doing business. We start our days early and finish whenever the work is finally done. It’s a tough job sometimes, especially when the UP sun is beating down on us in the middle of summer, but we’re used to it. We just focus on getting the bags where they need to go.
