Sonia Mart

Sonia Mart is located at Quarter No. 1266 in the Antra Colony. It’s a Type-Ii house that we’ve used for our shop for some time now. Being in Sonbhadra, we mostly serve the families who live right here in the colony. It’s not a huge store by any means. We carry the basics that people need every day like milk, bread, and some household items. Living and working in the same area means we know almost everyone who walks through the door. It’s a quiet life for the most part. The shop can get a little crowded when a few people come in at once because the space is tight. We try to keep the shelves stocked, but sometimes we run out of things if the delivery is late. We don't have fancy lights or a big checkout counter. It’s just a simple counter where we keep our ledger. People often stop by just to chat for a bit while they pick up their groceries. It feels more like a community spot than a business sometimes. We’ve been here long enough that the kids who used to come in for candy are now coming in for their own households. It’s a small mart, but it keeps us busy and we like being right here in the middle of the colony. It’s just how things are for us every day. We just open up and wait for the neighbors.
