Recs Innovation, Incubation And Entrepreneurship Foundation

Our foundation is based out of the Government Engineering College in Mushahi, which is near Churk and Roberts Ganj. It’s quite a long name for a foundation, but the Recs Innovation, Incubation And Entrepreneurship Foundation is really just a place where we try to get local things moving. We’re tucked away in the college buildings, working alongside the director’s office. Roberts Ganj is a unique place, and being at the college means we see a lot of people with big ideas that they don't know what to do with. We don't have a fancy corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just classrooms and offices that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our time trying to help people turn their thoughts into something real and practical. It’s a lot of talking, a lot of paperwork, and a fair bit of trial and error that doesn't always work out. We don't pretend to have all the answers. We’re just local staff and educators who want to see more stuff happening in our own region. The roads out here can be a bit rough and dusty, but people still make the trip to see us from all over. We don't have a polished way of doing things or a big handbook. We just take it one day at a time and see who comes through the door with a new idea.
