Over here in Obra, things move at their own pace. We are based in Sector 6A-15, and Arun Kumar Singh is the one who keeps things running. Sonebhadra is a rugged part of Uttar Pradesh, known for its power plants and heavy industry. Our office is just a regular house setup where we manage the local work for L&T. The roads around here can be pretty rough, especially when the big trucks are moving through. We spend a lot of time dealing with the local climate, which can be very unforgiving. Inside, the office is just some desks, some steel cupboards for the files, and a cooling fan that works overtime. We aren't here to impress anyone with a fancy setup. We just need a place to coordinate the projects and talk to the workers. Most of our days are spent checking on the sites or waiting for deliveries to arrive. It’s a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing. We know the people in the sector and the shopkeepers nearby. We aren't doing anything flashy; it’s just the basic stuff that keeps the projects going. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay out of the sun when we can. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of life in this part of the country. We just do our jobs and try to get home before it gets too late.
