You can find us near the New Durga Mandir in Khairatiya, Obra. The office is at A-461, care of Srikant Mishr. We go by Mishra Singh Mishra (MSM) India Nidhi Limited. It’s a bit of a long name, but we’ve gotten used to it. Being located near the temple makes it easy for people to find us. We aren't a big bank with branches everywhere. We are just here in Obra. Most of our work involves sitting down with members and going over their savings accounts. We keep things very plain and simple. No one here is trying to be a big shot. We just want to make sure the records are right and that the Nidhi rules are being followed properly. The office gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we clean it every morning. People from the Khairatiya area stop in often just to check on their balance or ask a quick question. We don't mind. It’s part of the job. Running a Nidhi company means you have to be careful with the details, so we spend a lot of time double-checking the entries. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on being honest with the people who come through the door. It’s a small, local operation and that is exactly how we intended it to be when we started. We don't even have a coffee machine, just tea.
