Lord Buddha Educational Foundation

You can find us in Rajkhar, which is a small village area in Duddhi. Lord Buddha Educational Foundation is actually located at Bhagwan Das Maurya’s place. He is the son of Sobran Singh. It is a very local setup, right in the heart of the village community. Sonbhadra is quite a distance from the big cities, so things move a bit slower around here. We do not have a massive building with a lobby or a receptionist. It is more of a community-based thing. We have been working out of Rajkhar for some time. Most people in the village know exactly where we are because everyone knows everyone else in this neighborhood. It is a quiet spot most of the time, except when the school kids are around or people are out working in the fields nearby. We do not do all that corporate talk or have fancy meetings. We just try to provide some educational support where it is needed for the local families. The post office is nearby, so that is how we get our mail and stay connected. Living and working in a place like Duddhi means you have to be practical. You can’t rely on fancy technology all the time. We just use what we have available. It is honest work for us. Sometimes it gets really hot in this part of Uttar Pradesh, but we have got some shade. We are not a big foundation with lots of money, just a few people in a village trying to help out.
