If you're looking for us, we are located in the Sabji Mandi area of Robertsganj. Fizu Construction (Opc) Private Limited is run from a small space care of Sri Satya Narain Pd. Being right in the vegetable market means it’s always loud and crowded outside, which we’ve just gotten used to over the years. This is a one-person company setup, so it’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers who come in and out. The office is very basic, just a desk, a chair, and a cupboard for all the files. I spend a lot of my time out in the village or at different sites around Robertsganj. I handle all the construction details myself, from buying the cement to talking to the workers. It’s a lot of responsibility, but I prefer it that way because I know exactly what’s going on. The market atmosphere is great because you can always grab something to eat or talk to the locals. I don’t have a website or a fancy logo. I just rely on people in the community knowing who I am and what I can do. Some days I’m just sitting here doing the accounts and other days I’m covered in mud at a site. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what I know. Robertsganj is a small place, and I’m just trying to run a decent business here. I’ve lived here a long time, and I’m glad to be working in my own town.
