Bringup Foundation

We are located in Ward No. 2, over near the Dhobia Tanki area. The address is care of Nand Kishor. It’s a well-known spot in this part of the 231217 area. Bringup Foundation is basically just us working out of a small house. It feels more like a home than an office, honestly. There is always a pot of water for guests and a few chairs in the front room. We don’t have a receptionist or anything. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up and opens the door. The area around Dhobia Tanki is usually pretty lively. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. Sometimes kids are playing outside and it gets a bit loud, but we don’t mind. We do a lot of work with the local community. It’s mostly just listening to what people need and trying to find a way to help out. We don’t have any big corporate donors or anything. Most of what we do comes from our own pockets or small bits from neighbors. Our desks are old wooden ones that creak when you lean on them. We keep all our records in thick ledgers. It is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We aren't trying to change the world overnight, just trying to do something decent right here in our own ward.
