Ponnappa Tiles Co.

If you go down Moovathoklu Road to number 632, you will find Ponnappa Tiles Co. It is not a very flashy building, just a regular place where we keep our inventory. We have been here for a good few years now. The staff is just a few of us who know a bit about tiling and construction. We spend a lot of time unloading trucks and making sure nothing got chipped on the way here. It is physical work, and our clothes usually have some white dust on them by the end of the day. Customers come in with all sorts of questions, and we just tell them what we know. We don't try to push anything specific. If a tile is cheap and looks okay, we say that. If it's more expensive but stronger, we say that too. The road outside can get a bit bumpy with the rain, but people still make the trip out to see us. We keep a pot of tea going most mornings to stay awake. It's a local business, so we know many of the contractors who come in. They usually just walk to the back and start looking at the new arrivals themselves. We try to keep the paperwork simple. No one likes waiting around for complicated receipts or invoices. We just want to get the job done and help the next person in line. It is a quiet life at Ponnappa Tiles Co., and that is fine by us.
