Bharat T Shirt Shop

We are located at Shop No. 12 in Vaishnavi Market, right near Laxmi Market. It is a tight space, but we make it work with all the shirts we have piled up. Most days are spent unpacking boxes or helping people find the right size in the middle of a stack. The market is always loud and there is always someone shouting about something nearby. We’ve been here for a good bit of time now. The walls are covered in different designs we’ve done over the years. It isn't a high-end clothing store. It is a t-shirt shop where you get what you see. We deal with a lot of cotton and a lot of ink. Sometimes the printer gives us trouble and we have to spend the afternoon getting our hands dirty to fix it. People stop in while they are doing their other shopping. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. It is just us behind the counter. The heat in the market can get pretty bad in the summer, so we have a couple of old fans that rattle all day. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we are still in our little spot. It is a lot of folding and re-folding clothes after people look through them. That is just the job. We try to keep the prices fair so the local folks keep coming back.
