Tejomai Distributors

Tejomai Distributors is located at Shop No. 4 in the Purva Vibhagh Vachanalaya building at Kanna Chowk. We are right near Burla College, so the area is always full of students and street vendors. Our shop is mostly used for storing and moving goods. There are boxes stacked nearly to the ceiling in the back, and the front area is where we handle the paperwork. It is a very functional space without any real decorations. We distribute various items to local retailers in the city. Every morning, the delivery vans arrive and we spend a couple of hours loading them up. It is physical work and we often end up with dusty hands by the end of the shift. The shop floor is concrete and can get a bit chilly in the winter months. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger and take orders over the phone. Sometimes the noise from Kanna Chowk is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. It is a busy life, but it keeps us moving. We are a small team and we all know each other well. We don't have a fancy corporate structure, just a boss and a few workers trying to make sure the shops in this area get their supplies on time. It is a basic, hardworking environment.
