Tarup Masala

Out here in Village Korphale, life moves a bit slower than in the big cities. Tarup Masala is located at Plot No-13, right near the Zilla Parishad Primary School. You can hear the kids shouting and playing during their breaks, which is a nice sound to work to. Barshi is our tehsil and Solapur is the main district, but we’re tucked away in this small village spot. The building is simple, just stone and tin, and we have our grinders set up where it’s coolest. It gets very hot in the afternoon sun, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early. Being near the school means there's always someone passing by on a bicycle or walking their cows. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s mostly just sacks of raw spices waiting to be processed and the sound of the machines running. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, so we’re always sweeping. It’s an honest day’s work for the few people from the village who work here with us. We know everyone around here, and they know us. It’s a quiet life, mostly, except when the school bell rings or a heavy tractor passes by the gate. We just keep our heads down and handle the spices like we always have.
