Taj Hotel, Palaces & Resorts (I.H.C.L.)

We are located out here in Vambori, which is a small spot in the Rahuri Taluka of Ahmednagar. If you are looking for us, you have to find your way through the district roads until you hit the 413704 pin code area. It is a bit of a drive, honestly. The Taj Hotel, Palaces & Resorts (I.H.C.L.) name is what we go by, but to the people living nearby, we are just a part of the local landscape. The building has been here for a while and shows its age in some spots, though we try to keep it tidy. Most mornings, the sun comes up pretty hot over the fields, and the staff starts arriving from the surrounding villages. We spend a lot of time on the phone or dealing with paperwork that comes down from the main office. It is not like the movies where everything is perfect all the time. Sometimes the internet is slow or a guest has a strange request that we have to figure out on the fly. We have a few rooms and the usual stuff you expect, but it’s mostly just us working through the day. The IHC name carries a lot of weight, but here in Rahuri, we just focus on making sure the lights are on and the rooms are ready for whoever shows up. It is a quiet kind of life compared to the cities, and we prefer it that way.
