Shree Ganesh Hotel

Shree Ganesh Hotel is tucked away in the Lashkar area of Solapur, specifically in Sadar Bazar. We are quite close to the Datta Mandir and Jagdamba Chowk, so there is a lot of religious activity and local foot traffic around here. Most mornings start with the sound of temple bells and the smell of incense from the street. Our building is an older one and it has that typical Sadar Bazar feel where everything is a bit cramped but lively. We have travelers staying with us who are visiting the temple or people who have business in the market nearby. The rooms are basic and we keep them tidy as best as we can with the help we have. It isn't a modern luxury building with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a stone and brick place that has seen a lot of years. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars who have been coming here since they were young. The water is kept in big dispensers and we make sure the linens are changed when guests leave. It gets very busy during festival times when the whole of Jagdamba Chowk is decorated and people are everywhere. We just try to keep the place running smoothly and handle whatever issues come up during the day. It is a local business run by local people who understand how things work in this part of Solapur. We just provide a place to stay.
