Shoury Masala

We are located out in Village Sangola. If you are looking for Shoury Masala, you just need to head toward the school in Ajanale. It’s near the Post Office for Akola Wasud. Being in Solapur means it gets quite hot here in the summer. We mostly spend our time grinding and mixing. You can hear the school kids playing outside during their break, which is a nice background noise for us. Our building is simple, just stone and mortar. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. We keep the machines running most of the day. The smell of ground masalas is everywhere. It sticks to your clothes. We don't mind. It’s honest work. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit before we can start the grinders again. We sit on the porch and watch the carts go by. It’s a slow life in the village compared to the big cities, but we prefer it. We know the farmers around here and where the ingredients come from. Everything is handled right here on the premises. We don't use any big fancy labels. We just pack things up and get them ready for whoever needs them. It’s just how things are done here in Sangola and we are used to it.
