Sho-Praja Foundation

Sho-Praja Foundation is located over in Rahata, which is part of the Ahmed Nagar district. We operate out of the home of Shankar Balkrishna Aher. Since we are based in a house, it gives our foundation a very local and personal feel. Rahata is a place where everyone knows everyone, so word travels fast around here. We started this because we saw things in our town that we thought we could help with. We don't have a big budget or a fancy office building. Instead, we use the space we have to organize our projects and talk to people who need a hand. The 413713 area is our home, and we care about what happens here. Our team is just a few locals who care about the community. We meet in the evenings or whenever we have time away from our regular jobs. There is no corporate ladder here, just a group of people working together. Sometimes things are a bit disorganized, but we always manage to get things done. We prefer it this way because it keeps us connected to the ground. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting on the porch or in the main room discussing local matters. It is simple, honest work without any of the fancy labels you see on bigger organizations. We just want to do our part for Rahata.
