Shivprasad Foundation

You can find Shivprasad Foundation at Gat No-1011 in Dahigaon. We are in the Malshiras Taluka of Solapur. It is a rural area, mostly fields and small houses. Our office is pretty simple, just a small building on the plot. We spend most of our time out in the sun, working with the local farmers and families. Solapur is known for being hot and dry, and Dahigaon is no different. We are not some big city organization with a glass office. We are just a bunch of locals who decided to put our resources together to help. We focus on the things that matter to people here, like water and crops. It’s practical work. We don’t have a mission statement hanging on the wall. We just look at the problems in front of us and try to solve them one by one. Being in Malshiras means we are far from the big cities, but we like it that way. It’s quiet and everyone helps each other out. We keep our records in a few filing cabinets and mostly use our phones to stay in touch. It is not fancy, but it gets the job done. We have lived here all our lives, so we know the land and the people. If you're ever passing through Dahigaon, you'll probably see us around. We don't hide away in the office much. That’s what matters most to us at the foundation.
