Shiv Shakti Agro

Shiv Shakti Agro is located in Ward No. 13, in the Baruhan area. We are right near the Govt. Middle High School. This isn't your typical grocery store; we focus more on what the farmers and gardeners around here need. I spend my days dealing with bags of fertilizer, different kinds of seeds, and some basic farming tools. The shop has a very specific smell of earth and sacks of grain. Since we are near the school, I also keep some basic stationery and snacks because the kids always need something on their way to class. Baruhan is a place where most people know each other, so I end up talking about the rain and the soil conditions quite a bit. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the heavy bags being dragged around, but I try to keep it as clean as I can. There are a few heavy wooden tables where I keep the smaller items organized. I don't have any big advertisements or glowing signs outside. People just know where we are. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time turning around in the narrow road near the school, so things can get a bit blocked up for a while. I usually sit on a small plastic stool behind the counter and wait for the next person to come in. It’s a quiet life but it keeps me busy enough.
