We've been at 60, Siddheshwar Peth for a long time. It's a busy spot and can get quite crowded. My father started this business and now my brothers and I run it together. We handle a lot of different things here every day. It gets especially busy on Mondays. We try to keep everything organized but sometimes the shop feels a bit cluttered with all the stock. People in the neighborhood know us well. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just the main shop area and a small storage room in the back. We spend most of our time talking to customers who have been coming here for years. Some of them used to come here when I was just a small kid helping out. It’s a very regular, local place. We usually close for lunch around 1:30 in the afternoon. If you happen to stop by then, the shutters might be halfway down. That’s just how we’ve always done it. There isn't anything special about our building. It’s just an old place with a lot of history inside those walls. We still keep most of our records in those big ledger books. We have a computer now, but the paper just feels more reliable for us. It’s a lot of manual work. We load up the items, talk to suppliers, and make sure everything is in its place. We don't really do ads. People just know where 60, Siddheshwar Peth is.
