Saptam Social Foundation

Saptam Social Foundation is based in Sangole, out in the Solapur district. We are right by Vande Mataram Chowk, just behind the Mohi area. It’s a busy spot in town, which is good because people can find us easily when they need help. We started this foundation because we saw a lot of social issues that weren't being addressed by anyone else. We don't have a big fancy office, just a simple space with enough room for a few chairs and a table. Most of our work happens out on the streets or in people's homes. We think it's important to be where the people are instead of hiding in an office. The address is a bit of a mouthful with all those numbers, but once you get to the chowk, it’s easy to spot us. We have a small group of dedicated people who put in a lot of hours for the cause. We aren't looking for awards or any kind of recognition. We just want to see our town do better for everyone. Sometimes it feels like we're moving slowly, but every little bit of progress helps. We deal with all sorts of things, from helping kids with their school work to looking after the elderly in the neighborhood. It’s a wide range of work, and no two days are ever the same. We take things as they come and try to do our best.
