Our mill, Rukmini Spinning Mills Private Limited, is situated at 95 Telangi Pachha Peth in Solapur. We have been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. The area code is 413005 if you are looking us up. It is a busy part of town, and the sound of machinery is pretty much constant around here. We are not a high-tech, shiny facility. It is an old-school spinning mill where we work with yarn and thread all day long. The walls are a bit worn and there is always a bit of lint in the air, but that is just how it is with spinning mills. Most of us here have been working these machines for years. We do not use any big words to describe what we do. We just take the raw material and turn it into something useful for people. It is hard work and it can get pretty loud inside the building at 95 Telangi Pachha Peth. We do not have a fancy office staff; even the people in the front office know their way around the mill floor. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait it out, which is just part of living in Solapur. We just try to keep the spindles turning and meet our daily targets as best as we can. It is a humble place, but it is ours. Rukmini Spinning Mills Private Limited is just a group of people doing work in a place they know well.
