Our shop is at Gali Number 109 inside the Market Yard Shopping Center in Mohol. If you’ve been to the Solapur district, you know how busy these market yards can get. It is a very loud and active place, especially on market days when the trucks are coming in and out. We are right in the middle of all that action. The shopping center is a bit old, and Gali 109 is a narrow lane with a lot of other small businesses crowded together. Our space is small, just enough for a few chairs and a counter where we handle our business. It gets incredibly hot in Mohol, so the small fan on the wall is always running. There is a lot of dust from the grain and the trucks, so we are constantly cleaning off the desks. It’s not a place for sitting quietly; there is always someone shouting or a vehicle backing up right outside. We like the energy of the market, though. It feels like you are right in the thick of real life. We don’t have a fancy glass front, just a metal shutter that we pull up in the morning and down at night. Most people who come to see us are already at the market for other things. We’ve got a lot of old ledgers and papers piled up in the back because there isn't much storage space.
