R F Fabrication

Our shop is over on Bijapur Road in Solapur, right near the Indira Nagar Post Office. If you walk past Ganesh Nagar, you will probably hear the sound of welding or metal hitting metal coming from number 25. That is us. R F Fabrication is where we spend our long days, usually covered in a bit of soot and metal dust. It is a gritty job, but someone has to do it. We handle a lot of different iron and steel work, mostly just stuff people need for their houses or small shops. Sometimes we are making gates, other times it is just small repairs that take a few minutes to weld. The sun really beats down on the metal roof here in Solapur, so it gets pretty hot inside during the afternoons. We have a few grinders and welding sets that have seen better days, but they still work fine for what we need. It is just a small team of us working here. We do not have a website or any of that stuff, just the sign out front and people knowing us by word of mouth. Every day is different depending on what the truck drops off at the gate. We just try to get the pieces to fit right and make sure the welds hold up well. It is hard work but we like being part of the neighborhood. We finish up late most nights.
