Precision Camshaft Ltd. Solapur

Our factory is out in Solapur at Plot No. 71 in Kumarswami Nagar. We are right on Akashwani Road, which is easy enough to find if you are in the area. We make camshafts, which is basically what our name says. It is a lot of machining and metalwork. The shop floor is where most of the action happens. It can get really loud with the machines running and the cooling fans going, especially during the summer months when Solapur gets incredibly hot. We have a good group of workers here who know their way around the lathes and grinders. It is not the kind of job where you stay clean; we usually have oil or metal shavings on us by the end of the shift. We have been operating from this plot for a good amount of time. We just focus on the parts we are making and try to make sure they match the drawings we are given. There is no corporate office in some other city; we are all right here on the ground. We have our small office area for the paperwork, but most of us prefer being where the machines are. It is a practical life. We drink a lot of water because of the heat and we just keep the production line moving. It is honest work and we are just local people making parts for engines. We stay focused on the tasks.
