You can find us over in Deep Jyoti Nagar here in Latur. We’ve been set up in this part of the district for a while now. Prant Consumer Protection Foundation is really just a group of us who saw that folks sometimes need a bit of help with their everyday problems as buyers. Latur is a busy place and things can get confusing. We aren't some big city office with glass walls. We’re right here in the neighborhood. It started because a few people were talking about how hard it is to get a fair shake sometimes. So, we decided to put a name on it and start helping out. The office is simple. We spend a lot of time talking to people who walk in. Some days it’s quiet, other days the phone won't stop ringing. We just take it as it comes. It's not about being fancy or having a big title. It’s about being there when someone in Deep Jyoti Nagar has a question. Most of us have lived in Latur our whole lives, so we know the local shops and how things work around here. We don't use a lot of big words. We just try to listen and see if there’s a way to fix whatever went wrong. It’s just us, working out of a small space, trying to be useful to the people living right here in our town.
