Patel Traders

Our place is at 601, East Mangalwar Peth, right near Kontm Chowk. If you're familiar with this part of the city, you know it's quite crowded and the streets are narrow. We’ve been operating Patel Traders from this spot for quite some time. It’s a traditional area, and we fit right in. We trade in various items, mostly things that local businesses and households need on a daily basis. The building is old, and we’ve had to patch up the walls a few times over the years. We have a small storage area in the back and a counter up front where we talk to customers. My father started this, and now we all help out. There’s no big corporate structure here, just us. Sometimes the deliveries are late because the trucks can't get through the narrow lanes near the chowk, which can be frustrating. We just deal with it as it happens. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share tea in the afternoons. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a lot of modern equipment, just the basics to keep track of what we buy and sell. If you come by, you might have to wait a minute if we're in the back, but we'll see you eventually. It's just an honest, local trading business in a busy part of town.
