Orient Cement

We've been here at Sagar Chowk for quite a while now. Orient Cement is what we do, sitting right on Hyd Road at V.D. Gharkul. The dust gets everywhere, especially when the big trucks pull in around house number 1712, but that’s just part of the daily routine here. Solapur heat is no joke, so we usually try to get the heavy lifting done early before the sun really hits the pavement. It’s a busy spot. People stop by all the time asking for bags for their small home repairs or even those much bigger construction projects. We just keep the stacks organized in the back. Sometimes the traffic outside on the main road gets backed up, making it a bit hard for our deliveries to get in, but we manage somehow. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a practical space where we handle the orders and talk to the drivers who come from all over. Most days it is just about checking the stock and making sure the inventory numbers match up. We know the neighbors around the Gharkul area pretty well by now. It's a loud area with all the vehicles passing by, but it feels like the right place for a cement business. You see the same faces every single week. Nothing much changes around here, we just keep moving the bags out the door every single day. We're just regular people doing this work.
