Navodaya Children Hospital

We are situated in Mohak City, right on the Virar Nalasopara Link Road. It’s quite a busy stretch of road, and we are near the Manvel Pada Talav, which is a nice landmark for people trying to find us. Being a children’s hospital means it’s rarely quiet here. There is usually the sound of a kid crying or someone playing with a toy in the corner of the waiting room. We have some colorful things on the walls to make it look less like a hospital, but it’s still a place for medical work. The staff is used to the chaos that comes with kids. Sometimes things get a little messy, especially on a rainy day when everyone brings in mud from the link road. We have enough beds for the little ones and some space for the parents to sit nearby. It’s not a polished corporate place, we just do our jobs and try to help the families that come in from Virar East. The lake nearby is good for a walk when someone needs a break from the wards. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and see who needs help. It’s a lot of routine work like checking temperatures and filling out forms. It’s a busy, noisy, and very real place to work every day.
