Nandanvan Food Industries Pvt. Ltd. is located At Post Loni Khurd in Taluka Rahata. Being out here in a more rural area means the pace is a bit different than the city. We are surrounded by fields, and you can definitely tell what season it is just by looking out the door. The facility where we process the food is a big open space with a lot of machinery that hums all day. It gets quite loud, so we have to raise our voices to hear each other sometimes. We start our work very early in the morning when it’s still cool outside. By the time the sun is high over Rahata, we’ve usually finished a good portion of our daily run. The air here smells like the earth and whatever we happen to be processing that day. We have a small office at the front with a few desks where we keep the records. It’s a very hands-on job, and we don’t spend much time sitting down. Everyone who works here lives nearby, so we all know each other’s families and what’s going on in the village. We don't have a big corporate culture; we just focus on getting the food packed and sent off to where it needs to go. It’s hard work and it makes for long days, but it feels good to be working with things grown right in this soil.
