Namsakar Soda Center

Namsakar Soda Center is right by the Ambika Mandir in Latur. We are located behind the Main Bus Stand. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. The bells from the Mandir are a nice sound to hear in the mornings. It’s a bit dusty because of all the people walking to the bus stand. Namsakar Soda Center isn't a very large place. We have just enough room for the supplies and a small space for us to stand. Latur can get very dry and the wind blows the dust inside. We are always sweeping the floor. It feels like a never-ending job. We don't have any big advertisements. People just know we are behind the bus stand. We’ve been here at this spot for some years now. The work is mostly the same every day. We check the stock, clean the counters, and wait for the customers. Sometimes it gets really crowded and we have to move fast. Other times it’s quiet and we just sit on the stools and watch the street. We don't have a fancy office. Everything is done right here in the front. It’s a bit of a humble setup but it works for us. Ambika Mandir is our main landmark. If you find the temple, you find us. That’s how things go at Namsakar Soda Center. Just a regular day in Latur. We close the doors and walk home when the stars finally come out in the sky.
