Our office, N V Koukuntala & Co, is situated at Plot No 57 in Sakhar Peth. This part of Solapur is fairly easy to navigate if you know where the Sakhar Peth Police Station is. We are located very close to it, which is the landmark we give to everyone. It is a decent-sized plot, and we have been here for a good while now. The area around Sakhar Peth has its own rhythm. It isn't as loud as some of the main markets, but it still has plenty of activity. The office itself is pretty plain. We have the basic furniture we need and enough space to keep our records organized. We aren't interested in making the place look like a fancy showroom. It is a working office where we handle accounts and other business matters for the people who come to us. You will usually find a few of us here hunched over desks or talking on the phone. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day to keep us going. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses and families who have lived in Solapur for generations. It is a comfortable spot to work from. We don't have a big PR team or anything like that. It is just a small, local operation where we try to keep up with the daily grind. If you happen to be near the police station, you are basically right at our doorstep.
