Meezan Foundation

You can find us over at Plot B-32 in Citizon Park. We’re right near that big SMC water tank, which is usually how we tell people to find us since the street names can be confusing in this part of Solapur. Meezan Foundation is just a small group of us. We aren't doing anything flashy. Most of the time we just focus on the people living around here and what they might need help with. The office is pretty basic, just some chairs and a desk where we keep our files. It gets pretty hot in Solapur, so we usually have the fan going full blast. We don't have a big corporate plan or anything. We just saw some things in the community that needed a bit of attention and decided to start this foundation. Sometimes it's helping someone with paperwork, other times it's just listening to a problem. We aren't experts in everything, but we try to be useful. It's a quiet area for the most part, except when kids are playing outside. We like being near the water tank because everyone knows it. We've been here for a while now and people in the neighborhood know they can just drop by. There’s no need for an appointment or anything formal like that. We just sit down and talk. It’s a very local thing, run by people who live right here in Solapur. We just try our best with what we have.
