Mahamine Hospital

Our hospital is located in Kolhar BK, which is within the Rahata Tehsil. It’s a rural setting, so we are one of the main medical points for the local farming community around here. The building is a simple structure that stands out a bit among the other houses in the village. We’ve got several wards and a place for outpatients to sit and wait. Life here moves at a different pace than it does in the big city. Patients often arrive very early in the morning, sometimes traveling quite a long distance on foot or by bus. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles or fancy technology. It’s mostly about basic healthcare and making sure the local people are doing okay. The dust from the roads often finds its way inside when the wind blows, so we are constantly cleaning up. We have a small team of dedicated people who have worked here for several years. You’ll often find us talking to the patients about their crops or their families while we go about our work. It’s a very community-oriented place. There aren't any big signs or flashy lights to mark the entrance. People just know where Mahamine Hospital is located. We try to provide a steady presence in the Tehsil. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when we’re short-staffed, but we manage to keep the doors open for anyone who needs help.
