Laxmi Hydraulics Pvt. Ltd. is based at B-11 in the MIDC Chincholli area of Solapur. If you know Solapur, you know it gets incredibly hot during the summer, and being in an industrial estate like MIDC means there isn't much shade. We deal with hydraulics, which means a lot of heavy metal, oil, and parts that weigh a ton. The workshop and office are right there together. It’s a noisy place with the sound of metal hitting metal and the hum of machines. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. Most of the guys here have grease on their clothes by ten in the morning. It’s not a place for suits and ties. We have a lot of orders to keep track of and the phone rings pretty often with people asking about pumps or valves. The roads in Chincholli can be a bit rough, but that is just part of being in an industrial zone. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just show up, do the hydraulic work, and go home. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes we sit outside for a break when there’s a bit of a breeze. We just focus on the machines and making sure the parts we send out are right. Dealing with pistons and pressure is just what we do every day.
