L&T Mumbai

Even though the name says L&T Mumbai, we are actually operating out of Solapur right now. Our address is A-48 in Asara Society, which is on Hotgi Road. The pin code is 413003. It is a decent spot in Maharashtra, fairly easy to find once you get onto Hotgi Road. The society is a mix of homes and some small businesses like ours. We work out of this unit, keeping track of the different projects the company has going on in this region. It is not a massive corporate headquarters, just a practical branch office. We have the usual stuff—desks, a few chairs, and a lot of files. The sun can get quite hot in Solapur, so we are grateful for the shade around the society. We are not here to put on a show. We just show up every morning, check what needs to be done, and start working through the list. Sometimes people get confused about the Mumbai name, but we just explain we are the local branch. It is a small team here, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. We have our tea breaks together and talk about the work or the local news. It feels more like a small family business than a giant company sometimes. That suits us just fine. We prefer the practical side of things anyway. We stay focused on the tasks and keep things moving. It is a simple life but the work is important to us.
