You can find Kokare Hospital, which is also known as Dhulabapu Kokare Memorial Hospital, right on the Malawarchi Devi Ring Road in Ashok Nagar. Being on the ring road means there is always a lot of activity outside. Trucks and cars are constantly passing by, and it can be quite a busy stretch of road. The hospital is a solid building that’s easy to spot once you get into Ashok Nagar. We’ve got a sign out front, but most people around here already know where we are. Inside, it’s a typical hospital environment. We have our busy mornings when everyone seems to arrive at once, and then it might quiet down for a bit in the early afternoon. The staff is used to the pace. We have the memorial name because of the history behind the place, which means something to the family and the locals who have been here for years. The rooms are basic, and we don't spend much on fancy furniture. We’d rather just have what we need to do the work. The waiting area has enough seats, though on Mondays it feels like we could use a few more. It’s a practical, local place for people in Ashok Nagar to come when they aren’t feeling well. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, day in and day out, along the Ring Road. It's an honest place for honest medical work.
