Kiran Doke Fruits Private Limited

Kiran Doke Fruits Private Limited is based out of Kandar village in the Karmala taluka of Solapur. This is rural country, and we are right in the middle of the farming community. Our address is basically just "At Post Kandar," which tells you how small the place is. We work directly with the local fruit growers. Depending on the season, we are either busy with pomegranates, grapes, or whatever else is coming off the trees. The office is just a simple room near where the crates are stacked. We do not have paved roads everywhere, so when it rains, the mud makes everything a bit difficult. Our days start very early, usually before the sun is even up, because that is when the fruit is picked and brought to us. We spend hours checking the fruit, making sure it is not bruised and getting it into the plastic crates for shipping. It is physical work and your clothes usually end up stained with fruit juice or dirt. We have a few local guys who help with the loading. We do not have fancy computers or any high-tech systems; we mostly use notebooks to keep track of what each farmer brought in. It is a quiet life in Kandar, and we like being part of the village. We just try to get the best of the harvest out to the markets in the cities.
