Jotirling Kisan Agro Impex Private Limited. Our office is at House Number 48 in Kandar. This is in the Karmala Taluka within the Solapur district. Kandar is a small village and our office is just a regular house that we’ve converted for our business use. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We spend a lot of time dealing with the local farmers and making sure all the records are kept straight. The Solapur heat can be quite something, so we usually start early in the morning when it’s still cool. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or branding on our walls. It’s mostly just calendars and maps of the local area. We handle all the import and export paperwork ourselves, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. There’s always someone coming or going, so it never stays quiet for long. We use old wooden desks that have been around since we started. Sometimes the dust from the roads gets inside, so we are always cleaning things up. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the work we do every day. It’s a tough environment but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of village life and the work we do here. It feels right to be working in the middle of the fields.
