Hotel Sonai Palace

Our place is out on Latur Road in the Chowrast Omerga area of Solapur. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center but that’s where we are located. The road is usually full of people traveling between cities, so we see a lot of tired drivers and families looking for a break. Omerga is a small spot but it gets a lot of transit traffic. The hotel building is pretty straightforward, just a few floors with rooms that look out over the road or the fields behind us. It can get pretty dusty because of the trucks passing by on Latur Road all day and night. We have a small area where people can sit and talk, and there is usually a pot of tea going somewhere. We don't have any of those fancy amenities you see in the city hotels, just the basics like a bed, a fan, and maybe a bucket for water if the pipes are acting up. The sun hits the front of the building really hard in the afternoon so it stays warm for a while. Most of our guests just stay for one night while they are moving from one place to another. We’ve been here at this junction for a while now and everyone in Omerga knows where we are. It’s not a quiet place because of the highway, but it’s a place to sleep.
