Our base is in Sholapur, at the Green Land Apartment, specifically unit B 6 in South Sadar Bazar. It’s a nice enough spot in Maharashtra, though the parking can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes. We operate Hbk Contracting Company from here. It’s a small office in an apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We handle different types of contracts, mostly focused on the local needs of people around here. We aren't some massive corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us who know the trade. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites checking on how things are going. Sometimes we get home late and our shoes are covered in dust, but that’s the job. Sholapur is a place where you have to work hard to get noticed, and we’ve been doing just that for a while. We don't have a mission statement or any of that. We just want to get the contracts finished on time and move to the next one. There’s always something that goes wrong—a delivery is late or a tool breaks—but we just fix it and keep moving. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it works for us.
