Girija Hospital

Girija Hospital is located right in Sangola. It’s a straightforward kind of place in a town that doesn't move too fast. We have our building set up to handle the basic needs of the local people here. You won't find any complicated signs or big glass walls. It’s just a solid place where people come when they aren't feeling well. The waiting room has a few fans going to keep the air moving, and the reception desk is usually covered in folders and registers. We see people from the town and also from the smaller villages nearby who travel in. Life in Sangola is quiet, and the hospital reflects that most of the time, though we do have our busy mornings. Our staff is mostly local, so everyone knows each other’s business and families. We spend our days checking temperatures, giving out medicine, and listening to the stories of whoever walks in. The floors are scrubbed every morning, and the smell of soap is the first thing you notice when you enter. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We are just a local hospital doing what we can for the folks in this corner of the world. It’s a lot of routine work, but it feels important to be here for the community. We just keep the doors open and do the job day after day without much fuss or bother.
