Ghruhalaxmi Tailoring Material & General Stores

We are located right on DG Road, and you can’t really miss us if you’re heading toward Siddheshwar High School. Being so close to the school means we see a lot of kids and parents every day. Ghruhalaxmi Tailoring Material & General Stores is a small place, but we pack a lot into it. We have shelves full of thread, buttons, zippers, and all the little things people need for their sewing projects at home. We also keep some general grocery items because people often realize they need milk or soap while they are out buying lace. The shop is a bit cramped because there’s just so much stuff everywhere. Sometimes I lose track of where a specific color of ribbon is and have to dig through a few boxes to find it. The bell on the door rings constantly in the afternoons when school lets out. It’s a bit noisy with all the chatter, but we like the energy. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a neighborhood shop where you can find what you need without a fuss. We spend a lot of time sitting on the wooden stools behind the counter, chatting with the neighbors who stop by to say hello. It’s a simple business, and we’ve been part of the DG Road community for quite some time now.
